THE COMPETITION TESTS WILL BE CARRIED OUT FACE TO FACE, AT THE FACULTY HEADQUARTERS.
Test no. 1. Elimination practice test:
INTERVIEW / PORTFOLIO / MAP WITH WORKS
The folder will contain 15 - 25 works (drawings, painting, sketches).
The interview will be based on the commentary of the papers presented by the candidate.
The candidate's ability to observe, analyze and synthesize, the expressiveness of plastic language and the use of various techniques and materials specific to painting will be followed.
It is marked with admitted / rejected.
Test no. 2. Practical specialized exam:
CREATIVITY - COMPOSITION
The topic is established by the admission commission on the day of the test;
The technique is at the candidate's choice (between oil, tempera or acrylic on cardboard or canvas);
Support format: 50x70 cm;
Working time 6 hours.
The candidate's ability to organize the compositional field, the chromatic sense, the technical knowledge of the representation through painting will be followed. The degree of creativity and plastic intelligence of the candidate is appreciated.
Grades 1 to 10 are given.
The admission average represents the arithmetic average of the 3 marks given by the 3 members of the admission commission within the test 2.
In accordance with the principles and strategy of the faculty, candidates who have obtained awards at the international Olympiads organized by the Ministry of Education (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) in the field or 1st place at the National Olympiad of Visual Arts, Architecture and Art History will be able to occupy places funded by to the state budget to the study program they opted for.
Candidates who obtained the II and III prizes at the National Olympiad of Visual Arts, Architecture and Art History organized by the Ministry of Education in the field or in related fields will be recognized for the eliminatory test and will be awarded a grade of 10 in the creativity test for the specialization equivalent to the one for which he won the award.
Prior to the admission competition, the Faculty of Arts and Design is organizing a national selection competition, called "Passages". The first place winners of this competition will be recognized for the eliminatory test and will be awarded a grade of 10 in the portfolio test, in the study program for which they have chosen according to the participation rules published on the faculty website.
(1) The documents required for the enrollment file for the undergraduate degree programs within the Faculty of Arts and Design are the following:
Candidates will be required to submit all documents required for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the faculty level, in original or certified copy, until until the day of the first mock test, according to the calendar established by the faculty regulations regarding the organization and development of the admission process, at the points of taking over the admission documents from the UVT headquarters or from the county admission centers organized by UVT, for scanning and certifying them according to the original by UVT operators. Candidates who do not comply with this provision will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
