Performing arts (acting) - in German

The general objective of the study program:
Through undergraduate studies of the Performing Arts (Acting) study program
(in German), the program provides students with a practical and theoretical training of
specialty, providing graduates with knowledge and skills related to Theater and Performing Arts. The general objective of the program is to train theater and film actors of high artistic performance.

The objectives and skills profile developed in accordance with the needs identified on
the labor market and with the national framework of qualifications are presented synthetically below and detailed in the subject sheets of the education plan.
Specific objectives:
- learning the practical and theoretical skills necessary for the acting profession;
- formation, development and training of the way of thinking in a theatrical aspect;
- the formation of skills and means that lead to a good coordination between thought and action;
- mastering the principle of organic unity between the psyche and the physical;
- appropriating the principle of physicalization as the foundation of stage communication;
- training and use of scenic means of expression;
- learning and developing bodily expressiveness and scenic plasticity
necessary for the communication and aesthetics of spectacular art;
- experiencing the authenticity of the actor's art prefigured by the dialectic of theatrical poetics in the sphere of stage creation;
- training and use of scenic means of expression;
- integration into the theatrical performance;
- appropriating the importance of the spectacular triad (author/actor/director) as a fundamental element in the stage creation process;
- familiarization with the specifics of the great universal dramatic systems;
- understanding the evolution of the universal theater over time, the relations between the audience and the creators of the performing arts;
- personal and professional development through the accumulation of professional skills and

a) Knowledge

- According to the European Qualifications Framework (European Qualifications
Framework – EQF), the learning outcomes related to qualification level 6, corresponding to university undergraduate studies, assume advanced knowledge in a field of work or study, which involves the critical understanding of theories and principles:

C1. Advanced knowledge of theoretical and practical elements in the field of acting, al
of theater culture and education, as well as in the field of theatrical didactics applicable to secondary and high school education, based on a critical understanding of the theories and principles underlying the mentioned areas;
C2. Good knowledge of the specifics of the great universal dramatic systems, as well as a
the evolution of the universal theater over time, of the relations between the audience and the creators of the performing arts.
b) Skills
- According to the European Qualifications Framework (European Qualifications
Framework – EQF), the learning outcomes related to qualification level 6, corresponding to undergraduate university studies, assume advanced skills, denoting control and innovation, necessary to solve complex and unpredictable problems in a specialized field of work or study:
A1 Training at a higher level of the practical and theoretical skills necessary for the profession of
actor; the ability to think theatrically;
A2. Assuming the principle of organic unity between the psyche and the physical;
A3. Learning the principle of physicalization as the foundation of stage communication;
A4. Good use of scenic means of expression;
A5. Applying the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge and transferring it in a
real professional context, through the conscious, autonomous and creative application of what has been learned, based on critical and constructive reflection;
A6. Self-control and innovation in solving problems of a practical nature, focused on
the activity of acting interpretation and that of theatrical education in the institutions of
middle and high school education, as well as in solving organizational problems and
coordination.
