At the Faculty of Law within the West University of Timișoara, the admission consists in a selection of students from the candidates who submit their admission file, based on the average between the average obtained at the baccalaureate exam (50%) and the grade obtained at Language proficiency assessment test (50%). Candidates are declared admitted in descending order of the final average obtained, within the number of places put up for competition. The general average of admission to the bachelor's degree program of the Faculty of Law may not be less than 7,00 (seven).
Language proficiency assessment test (ECLR) is a written test and has three sections (tasks): vocabulary, analogical reasoning and inductive reasoning. Each task corresponds to 15 subjects with only one correct answer. The maximum score of the test is 10 (ten) and is calculated as follows: 0,20 points x number of correct answers + 1 point ex officio.
Language proficiency assessment test is organized at the faculty headquarters. The time to solve the test is 90 minutes.
