THE COMPETITION TESTS WILL BE CARRIED OUT FACE TO FACE, AT THE FACULTY HEADQUARTERS.
Test no. 1. Elimination practice test:
INTERVIEW / PORTFOLIO WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
The candidate will present a portfolio with 20 own photos.
They will be colored and / or black and white, measuring 20x30 cm.
The interview will be based on the commentary of the photos presented by the candidate.
The candidate's ability to observe, analyze and synthesize, the expressiveness of visual language and the use of photography-specific techniques will be assessed.
It is marked with admitted / rejected.
Test no. 2. Specialty exam:
VOCATIONAL TEST - PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPOSITION
The duration of the test is 15 minutes.
The candidate will photograph a static nature that he / she will compose himself / herself, choosing some objects (their number will be decided by the admission commission) from the props of the study program.
The photos will be taken with the candidate's digital equipment.
The candidate's ability to associate and organize the compositional field with the chosen objects, framing, lighting, exposure will be evaluated, in order to obtain images with technical and artistic qualities specific to photography.
Grades 1 to 10 are given.
The admission average represents the arithmetic average of the 3 marks given by the 3 members of the admission commission within the test 2.
In accordance with the principles and strategy of the faculty, candidates who have won prizes at the international Olympics organized by the Ministry of Education (XNUMXst, XNUMXnd and XNUMXrd place) in the field or related fields will be able to occupy places financed from the state budget to the study program for which they opted.
Candidates who have won prizes at the national Olympics organized by the Ministry of Education (10st, XNUMXnd and XNUMXrd place) in the field or related fields will be recognized for the eliminatory test and will be awarded a grade XNUMX in the portfolio test in the specialization equivalent to that for which won the award.
Prior to the admission competition, the Faculty of Arts and Design is organizing a national selection competition, called "Passages". The first place winners of this competition will be recognized for the eliminatory test and will be awarded a grade of 10 in the portfolio test, in the study program for which they have chosen according to the participation rules published on the faculty website.

(2) Candidates who are Romanian citizens or from Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation who have completed high school studies outside Romania must present, in addition to the above documents, the document of equivalence / recognition of studies issued by National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED). The necessary documents and the procedure for the equivalence of studies carried out outside Romania are mentioned in Annex 1 of this regulation.
(3) In order to be admitted to the undergraduate study programs with teaching in Romanian, foreign citizens who do not present study certificates issued by educational units / institutions in Romania or abroad, with teaching in Romanian, have the obligation to present a certificate of competence linguistics for the Romanian language issued by institutions authorized by the Ministry of Education.
(4) Applicants eligible for exemption from the registration fee, in accordance with Article 21 of this Regulation, will upload on the admission platform also the supporting documents for the category in which they fall.
(5) Candidates with outstanding results at national or international Olympics and competitions can upload the relevant supporting documents on the admission platform.
Candidates will be required to submit all documents required for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the faculty level, in original or certified copy, until until the day of the first mock test, according to the calendar established by the faculty regulations regarding the organization and development of the admission process, at the points of taking over the admission documents from the UVT headquarters or from the county admission centers organized by UVT, for scanning and certifying them according to the original by UVT operators. Candidates who do not comply with this provision will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
