At the Faculty of Law within the West University of Timișoara, the admission consists in a selection of students from the candidates who submit their admission file, based on the average between the average obtained at the baccalaureate exam (50%) and the grade obtained at Language proficiency assessment test (50%). Candidates are declared admitted in descending order of the final average obtained, within the number of places put up for competition. The general average of admission to the bachelor's degree program of the Faculty of Law may not be less than 7,00 (seven).
Language proficiency assessment test (ECLR) is a written test and has three sections (tasks): vocabulary, analogical reasoning and inductive reasoning. Each task corresponds to 15 subjects with only one correct answer. The maximum score of the test is 10 (ten) and is calculated as follows: 0,20 points x number of correct answers + 1 point ex officio.
Language proficiency assessment test is organized at the faculty headquarters. The time to solve the test is 90 minutes.

The general admission average is calculated to two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula:
The overall average for admission to the Faculty of Law = 50% x the overall average in the Baccalaureate exam + 50% x the grade obtained in the Language and Reasoning Skills Assessment Test – written test.
The general admission average is the arithmetic mean between the general average of the baccalaureate exam and the mark in the Language and Reasoning Assessment Test. To be promoted, the minimum grade obtained in the Language and Reasoning Assessment Test may not be less than 5,00 (five). Candidates are declared admitted in the descending order of the final grade obtained within the number of places put up for competition.
The general average of admission to the bachelor's degree program of the Faculty of Law may not be less than 7,00 (seven).
Students who won the First Prize (the winning team of the final) and the Prize for the best pleader in the final at the National Debate Contest for high school students "Argument" - Challenges of law in the XXI century organized by the Faculty of Law of the West University of Timișoara be declared admitted without taking the entrance exam, being marked with an admission average of 10 (ten).
Students who have obtained distinctions at school olympiads and / or other national competitions during their high school education benefit from the exemption from the registration fee.
Students who have obtained the XNUMXst, XNUMXnd, XNUMXrd prize or a mention in the international school olympiads and / or other international scientific competitions, recognized by the Ministry of Education or by the academic community of UVT, benefit from the exemption from the registration fee. of the registration fee.
Students who obtained during the high school studies distinctions (prizes I, II, III, mention) at the international school olympiads recognized by the Ministry of Education - they benefit from the right to enroll in the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Law without taking the competition of admission, being marked with an average of admission 10 (ten), on places financed from the state budget.
Candidates will have to present all the documents necessary for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of this regulation, in the original or in a legalized copy, until one day before the results are displayed with the admitted candidates, at the collection points for admission documents in the UVT offices or from the county admission centers organized by UVT, for their scanning and certification according to the original by UVT operators. Candidates who do not meet the provisions of this paragraph will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
