Description of the exam test (s)

For the 2023-2024 academic year, admission to master's degree studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is carried out in accordance with these regulations based on the online admission test marked with ADMIS/RESPINS and the dossier competition, by fields and programs studies. Knowledge specific to the field of study is verified through written and/or oral tests based on a bibliography containing specialized works.

 

Details regarding the admission steps

    (1) The minimum general average of admission to the master's degree programs organized by UVT may not be less than 6,00 (six).

    (2) The overall admission average for the candidates declared ADMITTED following the admission test conducted online will be calculated as follows:
    MA = 0,65 x ML + 0,35 x PS + 0,20 (incentive for excellence)
    where:
    MA = general admission average;
    ML = average of the bachelor's exam;
    PS = score of the completed specialization, according to the options of the program coordinators (Annex 1);

    (3) The incentive of excellence is awarded (without the MA being able to exceed 10) for prizes obtained at national AFER Olympics or at national and international student competitions / competitions (including the FEAA student scientific communication competition), but also for articles published in journals. indexed in international databases or in international conference volumes.

    (4) The classification of the candidates is made in the descending order of the averages obtained at the admission competition and within the limits of the places approved for each university study program.

    (5) The general average or the general scores obtained by the candidates in the admission competition are valid for the establishment of the classification order only within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, according to the present regulation.

    (6) The order of classification resulting from the admission competition will also be used for the distribution of the places financed by study grants, these belonging to the best ranked candidates for each master's degree program.

    (7) In the case of equal environments, the division shall be made according to the following criteria, in order:
    1 - the general average of the years of undergraduate university studies;
    2 - the average from Test 1 for the evaluation of the fundamental and specialized knowledge within the bachelor's exam.

List of required documents

Documents required for the enrollment file for master's degree programs from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration are the following:

  1. Identity card / bulletin;
  2. Birth certificate;
  3. Marriage certificate - if appropriate;
  4. High school diploma;
  5. Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma and diploma supplementor certificate of graduation from undergraduate studies and the transcript, for candidates graduating from undergraduate studies in the current year; UVT graduates of the undergraduate studies of the current year do not have to upload the certificate of graduation of the undergraduate studies and the transcript on the admission platform in order to register for master's studies in the same year, the results of the final exam of the undergraduate studies being taken over in the candidate's file directly by the admission commissions of the UVT faculties;
  6. Diploma supplement or partial transcript;
  7. Medical certificate issued by the family doctor, not earlier than 30 days from the date of its submission to the document collection office, attesting whether the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, where appropriate, chronic medical conditions. suffering the candidate (neuropsychiatric, psycho-pathological, pulmonary, dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree) etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a diagnostic certificate;
  8. Certificate attesting to the completion of another master's degree program (completed or not at the time of submitting the file), mentioning the funding regime in which it was completed (if it is carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) - if appropriate.

 Candidates Romanian citizens or members of the Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation who have completed high school studies outside Romania must present, in addition to the above documents, the document of equivalence / recognition of studies issued by National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED). The necessary documents and the procedure for the equivalence of studies carried out outside Romania are mentioned in Annex 2 of the admission regulations.

For admission to master's degree programs with teaching in Romanian, foreign citizens who do not present study certificates issued by educational units / institutions in Romania or abroad, with teaching in Romanian, have the obligation to present a certificate of linguistic competence for the Romanian language issued by institutions authorized by the Ministry of Education.

(4) Documents required for candidates applying for places Romanian citizens everywhere are listed in Annex 3 to the Admission Regulations.

(5) Candidates eligible to be exempt from registration fee, in accordance with Article 20 of this Regulation, shall upload on the admission platform also the supporting documents for the category in which they fall.

(6) For curricula with teaching in an international language, candidates may upload supporting documents to prove their knowledge of the language of instruction, being relevant only those documents attesting to the knowledge of that language of minimum level B2.

Romanians everywhere = persons who freely assume the Romanian cultural identity, persons of Romanian origin and those belonging to the Romanian linguistic and cultural vein who live outside the borders of Romania, regardless of the ethnonym used, as well as Romanian emigrants, whether they have kept or not Romanian citizenship, their descendants and Romanian citizens with permanent residence or residence abroad (who do not hold a Romanian identity card).

Candidates will be required to submit all documents required for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the faculty level, in original or certified copy, until at least one day before the date of publication of the lists of admitted candidates, according to the calendar established by the faculty regulations regarding the organization and development of the admission process, at the points of taking over the admission documents from the UVT headquarters or from the county admission centers organized by UVT, for scanning and certifying them according to the original by UVT operators. Candidates who do not comply with this provision will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
