Description of the exam test (s)

(1) Admission to master's degree studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports is by competition, regardless of the form of education in which they are organized, based on the tests established by this regulation, in order to test the knowledge and cognitive, artistic or sports skills of candidates. The knowledge specific to the field of study is verified by written and / or oral tests based on a bibliography containing specialized works.

(2) Admission competition for the master's degree cycle at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports takes place on the basis of an interview, both for places financed from the state budget and for places with a fee.

(3) interview will contain questions from fundamental and specialized disciplines, studied in the undergraduate studies, as well as questions on the motivation for choosing the master's field and specialization.

(4) The subjects will be prepared separately for each master's degree program by a specialized commission.

(5) The time allotted to each candidate during the interview will be a maximum of 15 (fifteen) minutes.

(6) For master's degree programs Physical and Sports Education and Fitness and motor performance basic and specialized knowledge in the following disciplines will be assessed: Theory of physical education and sports, Theory of sports training, Athletics, Gymnastics, Sports game to choose from Basketball, Handball, Football, Volleyball.

 

 

Details regarding the admission steps

    (1) The minimum general average of admission to the master's degree programs organized by UVT may not be less than 6,00 (six).
    (2) The general admission average is calculated to two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula - the arithmetic mean of the following 4 components:
    ● interview note - weight ¼;
    ● average of the bachelor's exam - weight ¼;
    ● general (weighted) average of years of undergraduate studies (3-4 years) - weight ¼;
    ● graduate note (graduates of undergraduate degree programs within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports within UVT - 10 points; graduates of other undergraduate degree programs from the University of West Timisoara or undergraduate degree programs with sports or medical profile - 9 points; graduates of other undergraduate programs - 8 points) - weight ¼.
    (3) The classification of the candidates is made in the descending order of the averages obtained at the admission competition and within the limits of the places approved for each university study program.
    (4) The general average or the general scores obtained by the candidates in the admission competition are valid for establishing the classification order only within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, according to the regulations.
    (5) The order of classification resulting from the admission competition will also be used for the distribution of the places financed by study grants, these belonging to the best ranked candidates for each master's degree program.
    (6) In the case of equal averages on the last place, for the places subsidized from the state budget, the candidates are declared admitted following the tie, so as not to exceed the established schooling capacity, in the order of application:
    ● the general (weighted) average of the years of undergraduate studies (3-4 years);
    ● the average of the exam for completing the undergraduate studies.

List of required documents

The required documents:

  1. ID card;
  2. Birth certificate;
  3. Marriage certificate - if appropriate;
  4. Bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent to it, accompanied by the supplement to the degree, or certificate of completion of undergraduate university studies, accompanied by the transcript, for candidates who graduated from undergraduate university studies in the current year; UVT graduates of undergraduate studies in the current year do not need to upload the certificate of completion of undergraduate studies and the transcript on the admission platform in order to apply for master's studies in the same year, the results of the final examination of undergraduate studies , respectively the average of the years of undergraduate university studies, being taken over in the candidate's file directly by the admission committees of the UVT faculties;
  5. Two color photos ¾ cm in size ("ID / ID card type") - are not uploaded on the admission platform, but are only handed in in original at the document collection points;
  6. Medical certificate issued by specialist doctors, not older than 30 days from the date of its presentation at the document collection office, certifying whether the candidate is fit to enroll to pursue university studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports (Conformable Anexus 4 - Medical records, which is found in The regulation of the faculty regarding the organization and development of the admission process for the university study programs from the master's study cycle);
  7. Certificate attesting to the completion of another master's degree program (completed or not at the time of submitting the file), mentioning the funding regime in which it was completed (if it is carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania ) - if appropriate.

Candidates will be required to submit all documents required for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the faculty level, in original or certified copy, until at least one day before the date of publication of the lists of admitted candidates, according to the calendar established by the faculty regulations regarding the organization and development of the admission process, at the points of taking over the admission documents from the UVT headquarters or from the county admission centers organized by UVT, for scanning and certifying them according to the original by UVT operators. Candidates who do not comply with this provision will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
