(1) The minimum general average of admission to the master's degree programs organized by UVT may not be less than 6,00 (six).
(2) The general admission average is calculated to two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula:
Mean = ML
where ML is the average obtained at the final exam for undergraduate studies.
(3) The classification of the candidates is made in the descending order of the averages obtained at the admission competition and within the limits of the places approved for each university study program.
(4) The general average or the general scores obtained by the candidates in the admission competition are valid for establishing the classification order only within the Faculty of Physics, according to the Admission Regulations of the Faculty of Physics.
(5) The order of classification resulting from the admission competition will also be used for the distribution of the places financed by study grants, these belonging to the best ranked candidates for each field of master's university studies.
(6) In the event of a tie between two or more candidates with an average equal to the last place allocated to both the places financed from the state budget and the places with a fee, without exceeding the established maximum schooling capacity, the distinction will be made according to the average of the years of undergraduate studies (MA), and if the equality persists, depending on the grade in the test of assessment of basic and specialized knowledge from the final exam of undergraduate studies.
(1) The documents required for the enrollment file for the master's degree programs within the Faculty of Physics are the following:
(2) Candidates who are Romanian citizens or from Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation who have completed high school studies outside Romania must present, in addition to the above documents, the document of equivalence / recognition of studies issued by National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED). The necessary documents and the procedure for the equivalence of studies carried out outside Romania are mentioned in Annex 1 of this regulation.
(3) In order to be admitted to the master's degree programs with teaching in Romanian, foreign citizens who do not present study certificates issued by educational units / institutions in Romania or abroad, with teaching in Romanian, have the obligation to present a certificate of competence linguistics for the Romanian language issued by institutions authorized by the Ministry of Education.
(4) Necessary documents for candidates applying for places for Romanian citizens everywhere[1] are listed in Annex 2 to this Regulation.
(5) Applicants eligible for exemption from the registration fee, in accordance with Article 20 of this Regulation, will upload on the admission platform also the supporting documents for the category in which they fall.
(6) For study programs with teaching in an international language, candidates will upload supporting documents to attest knowledge of the language of instruction, being relevant only those documents attesting knowledge of the respective language at minimum level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages .
