Regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs in the master's degree cycle

Article 10. Documents required for registration in the admission process

(1) The necessary documents for the application file for the master's degree programs within the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology are the following:

1. Identity card / bulletin;
2. Birth certificate – for UVT graduates of undergraduate university studies from the current year, the document is not mandatory, it can be taken from the existing file for the cycle of university undergraduate studies;
3. Marriage certificate - if applicable;
4. Bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent to it, accompanied by the supplement to the diploma, or certificate of completion of undergraduate university studies, accompanied by the transcript, for candidates who graduated from undergraduate university studies in the current year; UVT graduates of undergraduate studies in the current year do not need to upload the certificate of completion of undergraduate studies and the transcript on the admission platform in order to apply for master's studies in the same year, the results of the final examination of undergraduate studies , respectively the average of the years of undergraduate university studies, being taken over in the candidate's file directly by the admission committees of the UVT faculties;
5. Medical certificate issued by the family doctor, not older than 90 days from the date of its presentation at the document collection office, attesting whether the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, if applicable, , chronic conditions from which the candidate suffers (neuropsychiatric, psycho-pathological, pulmonary, dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree), etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a diagnostic certificate;
6. Certificate certifying completion of another master's university study program (completed or not at the time of submitting the file), in which the funding regime in which each year of studies was completed (with funding from the state budget/ with fee, if it is/was carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) and, if applicable, the years and semesters of studies in which the student benefited from the scholarship, respectively its type - if applicable.

(2) Candidates who are Romanian citizens or from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, as well as British citizens and their family members, as beneficiaries of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the Union European and from the European Atomic Energy Community 2019/C 384 I/01, who completed their undergraduate studies outside of Romania must present, in addition to the above documents, the document of equivalence/recognition of studies issued by the National Center for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED). In the case of the recognition documents issued online by the specialized departments within the Ministry of Education, they are uploaded in electronic format on the admission platform by the candidate, within the deadline established for registration by the own regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the level of each faculties, and does not require certification according to the original by UVT operators. The necessary documents and the procedure for equating studies conducted outside Romania are mentioned in Annex 1 of this regulation.
(3) For admission to master's degree programs taught in the Romanian language, foreign citizens who do not present study documents issued by educational units/institutions in Romania or abroad, taught in the Romanian language, are required to present a certificate of linguistic competence for the Romanian language issued by institutions authorized by the Ministry of Education.
(4) The necessary documents for candidates applying for places intended for Romanian citizens everywhere[1] are mentioned in Annex 2 of this regulation.
(5) Candidates eligible to be exempted from the registration fee, according to article 20 of this regulation, will also upload the supporting documents for the category in which they belong to the admission platform.

[1] Romanians everywhere = people who freely assume their Romanian cultural identity, people of Romanian origin and those belonging to the Romanian linguistic and cultural lineage who live outside Romania's borders, regardless of the ethnonym used, as well as Romanian emigrants, whether they have retained Romanian citizenship or not, their descendants and Romanian citizens with permanent domicile or residence abroad (who do not have a Romanian identity card).

Article 11.

(1) Candidates who have passed the exam for the completion of university undergraduate studies in the sessions corresponding to the academic year 2023-2024 at a higher education institution other than UVT can upload to the admission platform and present at the collection points the documents necessary for the admission process from the UVT headquarters and from the county admission centers organized by the UVT, for the admission session immediately following the session in which they passed the bachelor's exam, instead of the bachelor's degree, the certificate issued by the educational institution, in the original, stating the general average from the licensure exam, the marks obtained in the exams taken at the licensure exam, the validity period and the fact that the diploma has not been issued.
(2) Candidates who have passed the exam for the completion of university undergraduate studies in the sessions corresponding to the academic year 2023-2024 at UVT must not upload to the admission platform or present at the collection points the documents necessary for the admission process in the UVT premises and from the county admission centers organized by UVT, the certificate of graduation from university undergraduate studies. The results of the UVT graduates in the exam for the completion of university undergraduate studies for the current year will be made available to the admission committees of the UVT faculties by the UVT General Secretariat.
(3) In order to enroll in master's university studies, candidates admitted to the places financed from the state budget are obliged to submit the diploma degree (or the certificate, for candidates who have passed the exam for the completion of undergraduate university studies in the 2023-2024 session) in the original, respectively the degree recognition document in the original, if applicable. For graduates of the current year's bachelor's degree studies at UVT admitted to a master's degree program organized by UVT on a place financed from the state budget, the certificate of graduation of the bachelor's degree studies will be submitted in the original to the student file by UVT representatives.
(4) In the case of the recognition documents issued online by the specialized departments within the Ministry of Education, they are uploaded in electronic format on the admission platform by the candidate, within the term established for registration by the own regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the level of each faculty, and does not require submission or certification according to the original by UVT operators. For enrollment, candidates who submit the recognition document electronically are required to submit a declaration on their own responsibility to confirm the place financed from the state budget.
