1. On average, 10 candidates will be admitted, on places financed from the budget, who:
• obtained during the high school studies distinctions (prizes I, II, III, mention) at the international school olympiads recognized by the Ministry of Education;
• during the high school studies they obtained at least one individual prize I, II, III or mention at the national phase of the specialized olympiads (Mathematics or Informatics) or of the competitions of Information Technology or Robotics recognized by the Ministry of Education;
Note. The Adolf Haimovici National Mathematics Competition is assimilated to the Mathematical Olympiad.
• have the status of heads of promotion within the partner high schools UVT or who obtained an average of 10 at the baccalaureate exam (based on the invitation letter signed by the rector of the university) benefit from free enrollment in the admission process and can benefit from the right to enroll, without the support of the admission contest, on places financed from the state budget, to undergraduate university programs from any UVT faculty ”, if they prove the obtaining of an individual distinction at school competitions in scientific fields (Mathematics, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Robotics) recognized by MEdu. These candidates will be admitted with an average of 10 (ten).
2. All candidates applying for a grade of one of the marks included in the calculation of the admission average may apply for a grade of 10.
• obtained during high school at least one prize in competitions organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (IMF Competition, Inter-County Mathematics Competition Traian Lalescu) or in mathematics and computer science competitions organized by universities in the Universitaria consortium through the profile faculties ( University of Bucharest, Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași);
• during the high school studies they obtained at least one individual prize I, II or III at the county phases of the specialized olympiads (Mathematics or Informatics) organized by the Ministry of Education.
3. Candidates who obtain team awards at national/international school competitions in scientific fields relevant to the profile of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (Mathematics, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Robotics), can equate one of the grades that enter in the calculation of the admission average, whatever it may be, with the grade obtained on the basis of an interview and the evaluation of the personal portfolio with the results obtained during the high school studies (based on the supporting documents uploaded on the admission platform). The portfolio assessment and the interview will be planned and conducted before the entrance exam, during the submission of the admission files, by a committee established at the IMF level.
Note. The Adolf Haimovici National Mathematics Competition is assimilated to the Mathematical Olympiad.
