Details regarding the admission steps

    The minimum overall grade point average for admission to undergraduate university study programs organized by UVT cannot be lower than 6,00 (six), provided that none of the grades obtained in the competition tests is lower than 5,00 (five ).

    The general admission average is calculated with two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula: 50% score of the Romanian language and literature test from the baccalaureate exam + 50% score of the Language and Reasoning Skills Assessment Test.

    The classification of candidates is done in descending order of averages obtained at the admission test and within the limits of the approved places for each university study program.

    The overall average or the overall scores obtained by candidates in the admission competition are valid for establishing the classification order only within the Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences, according to the admission regulations.

    The ranking order resulting from the admissions competition will also be used for the distribution of places financed from the state budget, these going to the best-ranked eligible candidates, for each bachelor's degree program.

    For each field of study and bachelor's degree program, the selection of students for the first year will be made from among the candidates who submitted the competition file, first of all based on the options expressed at registration and, secondly, based on the average admission (according to the principle "the option is above average"). Candidates are classified by fields and programs of undergraduate studies, by places financed from the state budget or by places with a fee, within the limit of the total number of places approved by the Ministry of Education, according to three criteria, respectively:
    1. the number of available places for which the admission competition is organized;
    2. the options expressed by candidates through the online registration platform;
    3. the strictly descending order of the general admission average for undergraduate university studies.

    Candidates are assigned electronically, within the limits of available places, with the help of the online admission platform of UVT, according to the principle "The option is above average", hence the importance of completing the options on the online admission platform. Candidates are advised to select as many options as possible on the online admissions platform, in order of preference, in order to optimize their chances of being admitted to the undergraduate studies at the desired place.

    For the following categories of candidates, the average admission score is equivalent to a grade of 10 (ten) in the admission competition for undergraduate university study programs offered by the Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences:
    1. students who obtained distinctions during their high school studies (XNUMXst, XNUMXnd, XNUMXrd prizes, mention) at the international school Olympiads recognized by the Ministry of Education - they will be admitted directly to places financed from the state budget;
    2. students who, during their high school studies, obtained distinctions (I, II, III prizes, mention) at school Olympiads and/or at other national or international competitions in school subjects in the socio-human and humanistic field;
    3. students who have the status of promotion leaders within the UVT partner high schools or who obtained an average of 10 in the baccalaureate exam (on the basis of the letter of invitation signed by the rector of the university, a letter that must accompany the candidate's file).
