Test 1: Practical aptitude test - eliminatory (physically, at the faculty)

The portfolio will contain a photographic documentation of the representative personal works (20-25 images) and a CV of the candidate.

For graduates of undergraduate programs related to the undergraduate fields of visual arts or architecture, test 1 is equivalent to passing the bachelor's exam.

The candidate's concerns, skills and knowledge in the area of ​​the master's degree program for which he is applying will be assessed.

The eliminatory test is considered admitted / rejected.

 

Test 2: Exam test - interview (physically, at the faculty)

PRESENTATION AND SUPPORT OF THE MASTER PROJECT

The test consists of supporting a personal research project or artistic creation, specific to the study program. The project will contain 5-15 pages, including text, sketches, images.

The examination test is taken orally before the examination board and is graded with notes from 1 to 10.

List of required documents

(1) The documents required for the enrollment file for the master's degree programs within the Faculty of Arts and Design are the following:

  1. ID card;
  2. Birth certificate;
  3. Marriage certificate - if appropriate;
  4. Bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent to it, accompanied by the supplement to the diploma, or certificate of completion of undergraduate university studies, accompanied by the transcript, for candidates who graduated from undergraduate university studies in the current year; UVT graduates of undergraduate studies in the current year do not need to upload the certificate of completion of undergraduate studies and the transcript on the admission platform in order to apply for master's studies in the same year, the results of the final examination of undergraduate studies , respectively the average of the years of undergraduate university studies, being taken over in the candidate's file directly by the admission committees of the UVT faculties;
  5. Medical certificate issued by the family doctor, not older than 90 days from the date of its presentation at the document collection office, certifying whether the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, if applicable, the conditions chronic conditions suffered by the candidate (neuropsychiatric, psycho-pathological, pulmonary, dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree), etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a diagnostic certificate;
  6. Certificate certifying completion of another master's university study program (completed or not at the time of submitting the file), in which the funding regime in which each year of studies was completed (with funding from the state budget/with a fee) , if it is/was carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) – if appropriate.

Candidates will be required to submit all documents required for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the faculty level, in original or certified copy, until until the day of the first mock test, according to the calendar established by the faculty regulations regarding the organization and development of the admission process, at the points of taking over the admission documents from the UVT headquarters or from the county admission centers organized by UVT, for scanning and certifying them according to the original by UVT operators. Candidates who do not comply with this provision will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
