County admission centers

The registration process for admission to university studies at the West University of Timișoara (UVT) takes place online, through the platform www.admitereonline.uvt.ro

Candidates will create an account on the digital admission platform, where they will fill in their personal data, upload all the necessary supporting documents, pay the registration fee and then confirm their seat and pay the confirmation fee.

Candidates will have to to present all the necessary documents for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on the organization and conduct of the admission process drawn up by the faculties of the UVT, in original or in authenticated copy, until the day of the entrance exam, the points of taking over the admission documents from the UVT headquarters or from the county admission centers organized by UVT, for scanning and certifying them according to the original by UVT operators. Candidates who do not meet the provisions of this paragraph will not be included in the ranking of the admission process. 

Students enrolled in places financed from the state budget must teach in a way mandatory and baccalaureate diploma or diploma of completion of undergraduate studies (or equivalent certificate) in original at the points of taking over the documents organized by UVT, în place confirmation period, according to the calendar of the faculty admission process which organizes the university study program to which they have been admitted. 

In order to support the candidates, the West University of Timișoara will organize in 2022 several admission centers, both at the UVT headquarters in Timișoara, and in several counties in the main selection pool of UVT students: Arad, Alba, Bihor, Caraș-Severin, Hunedoara, Gorj, Mehedinți, Satu Mare and Vâlcea. This will be:

  • „Horea, Cloșca and Crișan” National College Alba-Iulia - 1 Decembrie 1918 boulevard no. 11;
  • „Vasile Goldiș” National College Arad - Calea Victoriei no. 1-3;
  • „Mihai Eminescu” National College Oradea - Episcop Roman Ciorogariu street no. 18;
  • „Traian Lalescu” National College Reșița - Alexandru Ioan Cuza boulevard no. 7;
  • "Decebal" National College Deva - 1 Decembrie 1918 street no. 22;
  • „Theodor Costescu” National Economic College Drobeta-Turnu Severin - Orly street no. 37;
  • „Ecaterina Teodoroiu” National College Târgu Jiu - 1 Decembrie 1918 street no. 25;
  • „Mihai Eminescu” National College Satu Mare - Mihai Eminescu street no. 5;
  • „Alexandru Lahovari” National College Râmnicu Vâlcea - General Praporgescu street no. 19.

County admission centers will be open in the following periods:

  • July 7 - 9, 2022;
  • July 11 - 13, 2022 (by way of exception, at the admission centers in Arad, Oradea and Satu Mare, the period will be 11-12 July 2022);
  • July 20 - 22, 2022;
  • July 26 - 27, 2022.

Time slot  in which candidates can apply to the county admission centers is 9:00 AM - 16:00 PMmonths until Fridayor 9: 00-14: 00, Saturday.

During the periods and time slots mentioned above, candidates may perform at county admission centers, both Registrations for university studies (submission of the file on the online platform), as well as certification of documents according to the original (scanning them by UVT representatives) or handing over the original documents, according to the admission schedule of the study program for which he opts.

It is required the scanning by UVT representatives all documents that have been uploaded to the admission platform, such as:

      • identity card (or passport or other identity card, for candidates who do not have Romanian citizenship);
      • birth certificate;
      • marriage certificate - if suitable;
      • high school diploma or diploma of completion of undergraduate studies, respectively a diploma equivalent to them / equivalent certificate of the diploma, for the candidates who passed the baccalaureate exam or the completion of the undergraduate studies in the sessions corresponding to the year 2021-2022; 
      • medical certificate issued by the family doctor, not older than 30 days from the date of uploading it on the admission platform, stating whether the candidate is eligible to enroll in university and, if applicable, the chronic conditions the candidate (neuropsychiatric, psychopathological, pulmonary, dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree), etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a certificate of diagnosis;
      • certificate attesting to the completion of another bachelor's degree program (completed or not at the time of submitting the file), stating the funding regime in which each year of study was completed (if it is carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) - if suitable;
      • other documents uploaded to the admission platform (supporting documents for the results of national and international competitions and Olympics, supporting documents regarding the state of health, supporting documents necessary for the application for places specially allocated to certain categories of candidates, etc.);
      • supporting documents for the exemption from the registration fee - if appropriate.

The two color photos with size ¾ cm (“Type of ID card”) is not scanned by UVT representatives, but only handed in in original at the document collection points, with the name of the admitted student written on the back of each of them.

The points of registration and collection of documents from the headquarters West University of Timisoara (4 Vasile Pârvan Blvd., Timișoara, postal code 300223, Timiș County, Romania) and UVT faculties headquarters will be open during the period 4-29 July 2022, according to the available schedule HERE.

For the admission session of the month September 2022, document certification in accordance with the original and delivery of documents can only be done at the premises of the West University of Timișoara, according to the available schedule HERE.
