According to the legislation in force, higher education graduates can be professors only if they obtained Graduation certificate Psychopedagogical training program for certification of skills for the teaching profession Level I (for secondary education), respectively Level II (for high school and post-secondary education).
Psychopedagogical training program for certification of competences for the teaching profession Level I/Level II organized in parallel with university studies
All UVT students enrolled in the first year of the bachelor's/master's degree cycle have the opportunity to register for Psychopedagogical training program for certification of competences for the teaching profession Level I (students in the undergraduate degree cycle), respectively Level II (students in the master's degree cycle) organized în parallel to university studies.
Students enrolled in undergraduate university studies can register for Psychopedagogical training program for certification of competences for the teaching profession Level I organized in parallel with university studies and starting with the second year of studies, provided that the subjects related to the first year of studies are re-contracted (in the case of students enrolled in undergraduate university study programs with 240 mandatory credits, it is not necessary to re-contract the subjects).
Financial status of the student within the Level I/Level II psycho-pedagogical training program organized in parallel with university studies Bachelor's/Master's degree, is identical to the one the student has within the bachelor's/master's degree program which they are attending (with funding from the state budget or with a fee). Students Romanians from everywhere may participate in psycho-pedagogical training programs for the certification of skills for the teaching profession, organized in accordance with this regulation, in regime with tax in lei, at the level of the tax established for Romanian citizens.
Psychopedagogical training program for the certification of competences for the teaching profession Level I/Level II organized as a postgraduate study program
Bachelor's/Master's degree graduates, who did not follow Psychopedagogical training program for certification of skills for the teaching profession (Level I/Level II) during their bachelor's or master's studies, they can follow this program in postgraduate study regime.
Psychopedagogical training program Level I/Level II organized in postgraduate study regime takes place only in fee regime.

Level I - in parallel with undergraduate university studies
- Online registration of candidates on the UVT admission platform: August – 02.10.2025, 23:59;
- Displaying results with admitted candidates: 04.10.2025, 20:00;
- Filing appeals: 04.10.2025, 21:00 – 05.10.2025, 21:00;
- Displaying the final results with admitted candidates: 06.10.2025, 18:00;
- Confirmation of place by the candidate: 07.10.2025 - 09.10.2025, 18:00;

The required documents
Level I/Level II - in parallel with university studies
For candidates for the psychopedagogical training program Level I organized in parallel with undergraduate university studies, enrolled in undergraduate studies at UVT starting with the 2025-2026 academic year, the documents submitted in the admission file for undergraduate studies remain valid, with the addition of the following for enrollment in the Level I psychopedagogical training program: motivation letter.
For candidates for the psychopedagogical training program Level II organized in parallel with master's degree studies, enrolled in master's degree studies at UVT starting with the 2025-2026 academic year, the documents submitted in the admission file for master's degree studies remain valid, with the addition of the following for enrollment in the Level II psychopedagogical training program:
- the motivation letter;
- for graduates who did not complete Level I at UVT in the 2024-2025 academic year, certificate or attestation of graduation from the Level I psycho-pedagogical training program or of meeting the Level I psycho-pedagogical training requirement, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
Level I/Level II - in postgraduate studies
Documents required for the online registration file for the psychopedagogical training program Level I/Level II organized as postgraduate studies, are the following:
- Identity card / bulletin;
- Birth certificate;
- Marriage certificate - if appropriate;
- Bachelor's degree (for Level I)/Master's degree (for Level II) or equivalent diploma, or certificate of graduation from undergraduate/master's studies, for candidates who graduated from undergraduate/master's studies in the current year; UVT graduates of undergraduate/master's studies in the current year do not have to upload the certificate of graduation from undergraduate/master's studies on the admission platform in order to register for the Level I/Level II psycho-pedagogical training program, organized as a postgraduate study, in the same year, the results of the undergraduate final exam being taken over in the candidate's file directly by the DPPD-UVT admission committee;
- Medical certificate issued by the family doctor, not earlier than 90 days from the date of its submission to the document collection office, attesting whether the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, where appropriate, chronic medical conditions. suffering the candidate (neuropsychiatric, psycho-pathological, pulmonary, dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree) etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a diagnostic certificate;
- Supporting documents for candidates requesting exemption from the registration fee for the admission competition, according to Article 17, paragraph (5), of the regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process – if appropriate.
Only for the online registration file for the psychopedagogical training program Level II organized as postgraduate studies the following documents are also required:
- Certificate or certificate (in the case of graduates of the class of the academic year preceding the year of registration) graduation from the Level I psycho-pedagogical training program or fulfilling the condition of Level I psycho-pedagogical training, in accordance with the legal provisions in force;
- Motivation letter.
Admission tests
The admission competition to Psycho-pedagogical training program in order to certify the competencies for the teaching profession Level I and Level II organized in parallel with university studies, respectively Level II organized as postgraduate studies, is carried out online, based on a motivation letters written by the candidate.
The motivation letter must be uploaded by the candidate on the online admission platform. together with the documents in the registration file.
They can be admitted to the Psychopedagogical Training Program in order to certify their skills for the teaching profession Level I organized in parallel with undergraduate university studies, only those candidates who obtained at least average 7 (seven) la the baccalaureate exam.
The admission competition to Psycho-pedagogical training program in order to certify the competencies for the teaching profession Level I organized în postgraduate study regime, is carried out on the basis of a interview conducted in physical format, in specific time intervals and based on a prior appointment, which aims to identify the set of skills necessary for the teaching profession. The admission process to the Level 1 Psychopedagogical Training Program in postgraduate studies and the interview are carried out in Romanian language.
Amount of fees
At the Department for Teaching Staff Training, registration fee to the admission competition for the psychopedagogical training program Level I/Level II is 200 leiand registration fee this 250 lei, in accordance with the decisions of the UVT Senate.
Candidate categories exempt from paying the registration and/or enrollment fee are found in the regulations regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process.
For enrollment, candidates admitted to Level I/Level II psycho-pedagogical training program in postgraduate studies have the obligation to pay and 30% of the value annual tuition fee, established according to the decision of the UVT Senate. The date by which this fee can be paid is 17 September 2025In case of non-payment within the established deadline, the student will lose his/her place in the psychopedagogical training program.
