Defining the main concepts specific to the field, their use and specialized terminology in multiple situations;
Description and application of methods and techniques for analysis, organization and evaluation of information document contents;
Description and application of marketing techniques and principles for determining the information needs of users of information and cultural products, within the information and documentation services.
Analysis, validation and ranking of documents and information resources based on criteria regarding the quality, credibility, timeliness and exhaustiveness of the information;
Developing information, documentation and information retrieval tools based on the principles and methodology of scientific research;
The use of appropriate technologies in the professional creation and communication of various information products, while respecting the public's right to be correctly informed.
Efficient management of information and documentary collections in diverse institutional contexts: description of the principles, methods and techniques regarding the selection, acquisition, recording, processing, organization, preservation and communication of document collections, regardless of the medium;
Evaluation of information and communication culture training methodologies and their appropriate use in the process of providing information assistance to beneficiaries;
Solving realistically, with both theoretical and practical reasoning, common professional situations, in order to resolve them efficiently and ethically.

Practice for the elaboration of the graduation paper.
Graduates of short-term higher education with a graduation diploma, as well as graduates of higher education with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Graduates with a bachelor's degree who have not completed a form of specialized education in information and documentation sciences and want to specialize in this field.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent/short-term higher education graduation diploma;
Registration sheet / supplement to the bachelor's degree;
Birth certificate;
Marriage certificate (if applicable);
ID card.

Communication of results: 07.11.2025.
Tranche I: 12.11.2025;
Tranche II: 06.02.2026;
Tranche III: 24.04.2026.
I. Teaching modules will take place during the following periods:
M1: December 2-19, 2025;
M2: February 6-21, 2026;
M3: April 17 - May 9, 2026.
II. Internship: M4: May 25 - June 12, 2026.
III. Defense of the graduation dissertation: July 2026 (theoretical or applied paper between 15-25 pages).
Teaching modules will respect Methodology regarding the organization and conduct of learning, teaching, research and application activities in mixed format at UVT.
