    The general objective of the master's degree program Judicial career is to develop professional and transversal skills in applying students that will train them as competitive specialists in the field of legal sciences, in general, and in the fields of civil law and civil procedure, as well as in those of criminal law and criminal procedure, in particular.

    The objectives and skills profile are developed in accordance with the needs identified on the labor market and with the National Framework of Qualifications and are presented synthetically in detail in the subject sheets of the curriculum that are available on the faculty's website www.drept.uvt.ro.

      Specific objectives:
      1. to introduce the applicant students in the activity of scientific research and consultancy in the fields of civil and civil procedural law, as well as in those of criminal and criminal procedural law;
      2. to develop interdisciplinary scientific research;
      3. to improve teaching in the field of interest by constantly monitoring and adapting the contents of curricula and specific subject sheets, teaching techniques and methods for evaluating the educational process to the trends of progress at European level and the dynamics of development economic and social development of the country;
      4. to make the educational offer compatible with the requirements of the labor market in the field, by permanently adapting the curriculum in order to form specialized competencies based on the national qualifications framework in the area of ​​interest;
      5. to cooperate with prestigious universities in the country and abroad for the development of a modern and efficient master's higher education, at the level of similar study programs in European Union and other countries of the world, making the curriculum compatible with theirs.

      Knowledge:
      C1. Knowledge, understanding and proper use of specialized legal language;
      C2. Knowledge, understanding and appropriate use of legal concepts, theories, paradigms and methodologies;

      A1. Applying the necessary knowledge in collecting data and information on a specific legal issue;
      A2. Use of the legislation in force in the analysis of concrete legal situations;

      A4. Communication skills in order to document and draft legal actions, and the ability to manage such a procedure;
      A5. The ability to draft a specific legal document (introductory application, meeting notes and conclusions before a court or arbitration court, commercial contract, legal opinion, memorandum, specialized analysis, address to an authority, complaint to an authority);
      A6. Critical and constructive reflection on theoretical and jurisprudential aspects embodied in studies, legislative proposals, comparative research.

      Responsibility and autonomy:

      R1. Managing and performing professional tasks efficiently and responsibly, in compliance with the deontological rules specific to the field of activity;
      R2. Implementation and compliance with specific professional standards and periodic self-assessment of specific performance;
      R3. Efficient use of communication resources and sources of information and assisted professional training, both in Romanian and in a foreign language in compliance with current legislation on copyright, protection of personal data and the right to image of individuals.

    Description of the exam test (s)

    Enrollment in the competition for admission to university master's studies in a specific field can be done regardless of the field in which the bachelor's degree was acquired, provided that a minimum of 240 ECTS credits have been obtained in that field. From this rule, the master's degree program is an exception Judicial career, in which enrollment is conditional upon the completion of an undergraduate degree program from an authorized or accredited law faculty.

    Admission to master's degree studies at the Faculty of Law is by competition, regardless of the form of education in which they are organized, based on the tests established by this regulation, in order to test knowledge and cognitive abilities. The knowledge specific to the field of study is verified by written and / or oral tests based on a bibliography containing specialized works.

    (1) The admission contest for the places financed from the state budget consists of a theoretical and practical exam type interview, having as bibliography:

    (2) For the places financed from the state budget, the classification of candidates takes place on the basis of the score obtained at the admission contest - interview, 1-10 points, held on 12.07.2024, respectively 10.09.2024 (*only if, in the July session , not all places financed from the state budget were filled), according to the schedule available online.

    (3) Candidates who opt exclusively for paid places do not take the entrance exam. They are classified according to available places, according to the criterion of the average obtained at the bachelor's exam.

    (4) The ranking and distribution of candidates for the places financed from the state budget is done according to the score obtained, and the display of the provisional results will be done until 15.07.2024, respectively 10.09.2024. Candidates who opt for places financed from the state budget related to several university master's study programs organized at the Faculty of Law will take the interview test at each of the university master's study programs they have opted for.

    (5) In cases where two or more candidates have obtained an equal score, their distinction will be made on the basis of the general average of the years of study, and if this criterion is not sufficient, the average obtained in the final exam will be taken into account. license.

    Details regarding the admission steps

      (1) The minimum general average of admission to the master's degree programs organized by UVT may not be less than 6,00 (six).
      (2) For the places financed from the state budget, the classification of candidates is based on the score obtained following the admission competition - interview type, held on 12.07.2024, respectively 10.09.2024, according to the schedule available on www.drept.uvt .ro.
      (3) Candidates who opt exclusively for paid places will not take the entrance exam. They are classified according to the available places, according to the average obtained at the final exam of the undergraduate studies.

    1. ID card;
    2. Birth certificate – for UVT graduates of undergraduate university studies from the current year, the document is not mandatory, it can be taken from the existing file for the cycle of university undergraduate studies;
    3. Marriage certificate - if appropriate;
    4. Bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent to it, accompanied by the supplement to the diploma, or certificate of completion of undergraduate university studies, accompanied by the transcript, for candidates who graduated from undergraduate university studies in the current year; UVT graduates of undergraduate studies in the current year do not need to upload the certificate of completion of undergraduate studies and the transcript on the admission platform in order to apply for master's studies in the same year, the results of the final examination of undergraduate studies , respectively the average of the years of undergraduate university studies, being taken over in the candidate's file directly by the admission committees of the UVT faculties;
    5. Medical certificate issued by the family doctor, not older than 90 days from the date of its presentation at the document collection office, certifying whether the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, if applicable, the conditions chronic conditions suffered by the candidate (neuropsychiatric, psycho-pathological, pulmonary, dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree), etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a diagnostic certificate;
    6. Certificate certifying completion of another master's university study program (completed or not at the time of submission of the file), in which the funding regime in which each year of studies was completed (with funding from the state budget/with a fee) , if it is/was carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) and, if applicable, the years and semesters of studies in which the student benefited from the scholarship, respectively its type - if appropriate.
    7. For study programs with teaching in an internationally spoken language, candidates can upload supporting documents to attest knowledge of the language of instruction, being relevant only those documents attesting knowledge of the respective language at minimum level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages .
