Candidates will have to present all the documents necessary for the admission process in original or in legalized copies at the points of collection of admission documents in the UVT offices or in the county admission centers organized by UVT, for their scanning and certification according to the original by UVT operators.

Candidates who do not meet the provisions of this paragraph will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
After the end of the registration period, the options, their order as well as other information from the file registered on the online admission platform cannot be changed.
Regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs at the master's degree level:
Article 9. Documents required for registration in the admission process
(1) The documents required for the application file for master's degree programs within the Faculty of Letters, History, Philosophy and Theology are as follows:
- ID card;
- Birth certificate - for UVT graduates of undergraduate studies who were admitted to undergraduate studies starting in 2020, it is not mandatory, and can be taken from the existing file for the undergraduate studies cycle, except in the case where the candidate has been issued another birth certificate since that time;
- Marriage certificate - if appropriate;
- Bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent to it, accompanied by the supplement to the diploma, or certificate of completion of undergraduate university studies, accompanied by the transcript, for candidates who graduated from undergraduate university studies in the current year; UVT graduates of undergraduate studies in the current year do not need to upload the certificate of completion of undergraduate studies and the transcript on the admission platform in order to apply for master's studies in the same year, the results of the final examination of undergraduate studies , respectively the average of the years of undergraduate university studies, being taken over in the candidate's file directly by the admission committees of the UVT faculties;
- Medical certificate issued by the family doctor or from a student medical office, not older than 90 days from the date of its submission to the document collection office, certifying that the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, where appropriate, the chronic conditions of the candidate (neuropsychiatric, psychopathological, pulmonary , dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree, etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a certificate of diagnosis;
- Certificate certifying completion of another master's university study program (completed or not at the time of submission of the file), in which the funding regime in which each year of studies was completed (with funding from the state budget/with a fee) , if it is/was carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) and, if applicable, the years and semesters of studies in which the student benefited from the scholarship, respectively its type - if appropriate.
- Proof of knowledge of the English language at a minimum level of B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, for candidates enrolled in master's degree programs taught exclusively in English.
(2) Candidates who are Romanian citizens or from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, as well as British citizens and their family members, as beneficiaries of Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community 2019/C 384 I/01 (British citizens who are in Romania and continue to reside on the territory of Romania after the end of the transition period of the withdrawal process of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union, established according to Article 126 of the Withdrawal Agreement for December 31, 2020, their family members who accompany them or who join them after the end of the transition period if they had the status of family members before its end, as well as children born or adopted after the end of the transition period, provided that proof of registration from the General Inspectorate of Immigration within the Ministry of Internal Affairs is presented), who completed their undergraduate studies outside Romania must present, in addition to the above documents, the equivalence/recognition document of studies issued by National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED). In the case of recognition documents issued online by the specialized departments within the Ministry of Education and Research, they are uploaded in electronic format to the admission platform by the candidate, within the deadline established for registration by the own regulation regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process at the level of each faculty, and do not require certification according to the original by UVT operators. The necessary documents and the procedure for the equivalence of studies completed outside Romania are mentioned in Appendix 2 a Regulations of the West University of Timisoara (UVT) regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs at the master's degree level.
(3) Necessary documents for candidates applying for places for Romanian citizens everywhere[1] are mentioned in Appendix 3 a Regulations of the West University of Timisoara (UVT) regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs at the master's degree level.
(4) Applicants eligible for exemption from the registration fee, in accordance with Article 17 of this Regulation, will upload on the admission platform also the supporting documents for the category in which they fall.
(5) For admission to university master's degree programs taught in Romanian, candidates who do not hold Romanian citizenship and who do not present Romanian study documents (diplomas and certificates) issued following the graduation of study programs taught in Romanian or study documents/school situations attesting to at least three years of consecutive studies followed in Romanian issued by school units/higher education institutions from the national system in Romania or abroad, are required to present a certificate/attestation of linguistic competence for the Romanian language of minimum level B1, according to The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, issued by the pre-university education units organizing the introductory course in Romanian, by the accredited higher education institutions in Romania organizing Romanian language preparatory program for foreign citizens, regardless of the field studied, by the lecturers of Romanian language, literature, culture and civilization in higher education institutions abroad, by the Institute of the Romanian Language or by the Romanian Cultural Institute.
(6) For study programs with teaching in an internationally spoken language, candidates can upload supporting documents to attest knowledge of the language of instruction, being relevant only those documents attesting knowledge of the respective language at minimum level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages .
(7) Candidates who present academic documents issued by educational institutions in Romania or abroad, with teaching in the respective language, will have their language proficiency test duly equivalent by the admission committee at the faculty level.
Article 10. (1) In order to enroll in master's degree studies, candidates admitted to places financed from the state budget are required to submit the documents necessary for the admission process at the UVT headquarters or county admission centers organized by UVT. (in the case of county centers, only the periods in which they are open, according to the information published on the website dedicated to the admission process - https://admitere.uvt.ro/procesul-de-admitere/centre-judetene-de-admitere/), the bachelor's degree diploma (or certificate, for candidates who passed the bachelor's degree completion exam in the 2025-2026 session) in original. The deadline for submitting the original diploma/certificate coincides with deadline for confirming the place, related the confirmation stage in which the candidate also pays the registration fee, according to the admission process calendar at the faculty level in question.
(2) If, following the process of confirming and redistributing places, a student initially declared admitted to a fee-paying place (a place that the student confirmed within the deadline provided for that stage by the calendar established in Article 7 of this regulation) will transfer to a place financed from the state budget, he/she will have to submit the bachelor's degree diploma (or certificate, for candidates who passed the bachelor's degree final exam in the 2025-2026 session) in original. within 2 working days from the moment the result is displayed on the online admission platform, but no later than the date of July 28, 2026, 18:00 a.m, for the first admission session, respectively September 17, 2026, 16:00 p.m., for the second admission session.
(3) For current year undergraduate graduates from UVT admitted to a master's degree program organized by UVT on a place financed from the state budget, the original undergraduate graduation certificate will be submitted to the student's file by UVT representatives, provided that the document has not been previously collected by the candidate, in which case the submission of the certificate is the candidate's responsibility.
(4) Failure to present the original diploma/certificate of completion of undergraduate studies, due to the sole fault of the admitted candidate, within the established deadline, leads to the loss of the place financed from the state budget.
(5) Candidates who, at the time of submitting the original diploma, also hold the diploma recognition document, as applicable, are required to submit the latter, in original, along with the diploma.
(6) In the case of recognition documents issued online by the specialized departments within the Ministry of Education and Research, they are uploaded in electronic format to the admission platform by the candidate, within the deadline established for registration by the own regulation regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process at the level of each faculty, and do not require submission or certification according to the original by UVT operators.
