Description of the exam test (s)

(1) The admission exam for the undergraduate degree program offered by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration contains a mandatory written test in the form of an admission test.

For undergraduate university study programs for which the admission test is FEAA admission testThe general admission average is calculated taking into account 30% of the grade on this test.

(a) The UVT-FEAA admission test contains 45 items economic reasoning and logic, each worth 0,2 points.

(B) 1 point is added to the final score ex officio.

(C) The working time for solving the UVT-FEAA admission test will be 45 minutes, quantified from the moment the exam subject sheets are distributed.

(D) The minimum passing score for the UVT-FEAA admission test is 5,00 (five).

The technical and organizational details for taking the admission test can be found in Procedure for organizing and conducting the FEAA Test for admission to undergraduate university study programs, Annex 1 to this Regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs at the bachelor's degree level.

(2) For undergraduate university study programs organized in a foreign language, namely Accounting and Management Informatics (in German), Finance and Banking (in English), Management (in French), all candidates take a language proficiency test that will aim to verify general communication skills in the respective language, eliminatory, conducted online, using electronic means that ensure direct audio and video communication with the candidate in the admission process, marked as admitted/rejected. Possession of internationally recognized diplomas/certificates, such as:

  • CAE - Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English,
  • IELTS - International English Language Testing System,
  • TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
  • DALF - Advanced Diploma in the French Language
  • Deutsches Sprachdiplom. Zweite Stufe
  • Goethe-Certificate B2, Goethe-Certificate C1
  • Goethe-Certificat C2: Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom (GDS)
  • DaF test
  • telc Deutsch B2, telc Deutsch C1
  • ÖSD Certificate B2, C1, C2

is equivalent to taking and passing the language skills test for candidates enrolled in foreign language study programs. Candidates from countries with English, German or French as official languages ​​or those who attended a high school with English, German or French as the language of instruction are considered admitted to the language proficiency test for the specialization in that language. Candidates declared rejected in the language proficiency test remain registered for the admission competition to study programs in the Romanian language, according to the options selected during registration.

Details regarding the admission steps

    (1) The minimum general average for admission to the undergraduate university study programs organized by UVT cannot be lower than 6,00 (six), provided that none of the grades obtained in the competitive exams is lower than 5,00 (five). (2) The general average for admission is calculated with two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula: MA = (0,7 x M1 + 0,3 x M2) + MAXIM (Olympiad Bonus or FEAA ECONOMICA RIPENSIS National Competition Bonus) where: MA = general admission average; M1 = general baccalaureate average; M2 = grade obtained in the FEAA admission test. The Olympiad bonus (1 point) is granted to all participants in the national phases of the school olympiads with an economic profile organized in grades IX-XII, without exceeding MA = 10. The bonus related to the national knowledge contest for students "FEAA ECONOMICA RIPENSIS" organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in 2025 or 2026 (10% of the score obtained in the contest), is granted to participants in any section of the contest who obtained a grade higher than or equal to 7 (seven), without exceeding MA = 10. A maximum of 1 bonus point is granted to the admission average (without exceeding MA = 10), regardless of the number of participations of candidates in the national phases of the school olympiads with an economic profile and/or in the national knowledge contest for students "FEAA ECONOMICA RIPENSIS". (3) The ranking of candidates is done in descending order of the averages obtained in the admission competition and within the limit of the places approved for each university study program. (4) The general average or the general scores obtained by candidates in the admission competition are valid for establishing the ranking only within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, according to this regulation. (5) The ranking resulting from the admission competition will also be used for the distribution of places financed from the state budget, these going to the best ranked eligible candidates, for each undergraduate university study program. The division in case of equality is done according to the following criteria, in order: 1. grade M1; 2. grade M2. (6) The general admission average for Romanian candidates from all over the world is calculated with two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula: MA = M1 + MAXIM (Olympiad Bonus or FEAA ECONOMICA RIPENSIS national competition bonus) where: MA = general admission average; M1 = general baccalaureate average. The Olympiad bonus (1 point) is granted to all participants in the national phases of the school olympiads with an economic profile organized in grades IX-XII, without exceeding MA = 10. The separation in case of equality is made according to the following criteria, in order: 1. The highest grade from the grades in the baccalaureate exam tests, similarly equivalent. 2. The average of the high school years.

    (1) Candidates who have obtained distinctions (I, II, III prizes) at international school olympiads recognized by the Ministry of Education and Research and/or I prize at national olympiads, financed by the Ministry of Education and Research, are admitted to places financed from the state budget without taking admission tests. (2) A bonus of 1 point to the general admission average is granted to all participants in the national phases of the school olympiads with an economic profile, without exceeding the general admission average of 10. At the same time, participants in any section of the national knowledge competition for students "FEAA ECONOMICA RIPENSIS" organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in 2025 or 2026, who obtained a grade higher than or equal to 7 (seven), are granted a bonus of 10% of the score obtained in the competition, without exceeding the general admission average of 10. The bonus (maximum 1 point) is granted only once, regardless of the number of participations of the candidates in the national phases of the school olympiads with an economic profile and/or in the national knowledge competition for students "FEAA ECONOMICA RIPENSIS" and cannot be combined with other bonuses. (3) Candidates who have obtained the status of class leaders within UVT partner high schools or who have obtained an average of 10 in the baccalaureate exam organized in Romania (based on the invitation letter signed by the UVT rector, a letter that must accompany the candidate's file) take the admission tests specific to the undergraduate university study program(s), except in the case where they have obtained distinctions in national or international olympiads/competitions during their high school studies and fall under the special conditions regarding the admission process mentioned in article 14 of this regulation. (4) Candidates mentioned in paragraph (1) of this article benefit from access to places without fees. If they are enrolled, following the admission competition, in a place with fees, they will benefit from exemption from tuition fees in the first year of studies; in this case, they will not pay the first installment of the tuition fee, uploading the letter received in the section dedicated to the payment of this fee on the digital admission platform, acting as a supporting document for the payment exemption.

List of required documents

Documents required for the application file for undergraduate university study programs from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration are the following:

1. Identity card / bulletin;

2. Birth certificate;

3. Marriage certificate - if appropriate;

4. Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent;

  • Candidates who passed the baccalaureate exam in the sessions corresponding to the 2025-2026 school year can upload to the admission platform and present at the collection points the documents necessary for the admission process from the UVT offices and from the county admission centers organized by the UVT, for the admission session immediately following the session in which they passed the baccalaureate exam, instead of the baccalaureate diploma, the certificate issued by the pre-university education unit in the original or a legalized copy, which mentions the general average from the baccalaureate exam, the grades obtained in the tests taken at this exam, the validity period and the fact that the diploma has not been issued.

5. Medical certificate issued by the family doctor, the doctor from the school medical office or from a student medical office, no older than 90 days from the date of its presentation at the document collection office, attesting whether the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, if applicable, the chronic conditions from which the candidate suffers (neuropsychiatric, psycho-pathological, pulmonary, dermato-venereal, handicap (type, degree) etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia etc.) or possible special educational requirements will be attested by a diagnostic certificate;

6. Certificate certifying completion of another undergraduate university study program (completed or not at the time of submitting the file), in which the funding regime in which each year of studies was completed (with funding from the state budget/ with fee, if it is/was carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) and, if applicable, the years and semesters of studies in which the student benefited from the scholarship, respectively its type - if appropriate.
