(1) Documents required for the application file at bachelor's degree programs from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration are the following:
(2) Candidates who are Romanian citizens or from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, as well as British citizens and their family members, as beneficiaries of Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community 2019/C 384 I/01 (British citizens who are in Romania and continue to reside on the territory of Romania after the end of the transition period of the withdrawal process of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union, established according to Article 126 of the Withdrawal Agreement for December 31, 2020, their family members who accompany them or who join them after the end of the transition period if they had the status of family members before its end, as well as children born or adopted after the end of the transition period, provided that proof of registration from the General Inspectorate of Immigration within the Ministry of Internal Affairs is presented), who completed their high school studies outside Romania, as well as those who hold study documents issued by education providers that provide pre-university education activities based on a curriculum of another state, on the territory of Romania, must present, in addition to the above documents, the document of equivalence/recognition of studies issued by National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED). In the case of recognition documents issued online by the specialized departments within the Ministry of Education and Research, they are uploaded in electronic format to the admission platform by the candidate, within the deadline established for registration by the own regulation regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process at the level of each faculty, and do not require certification according to the original by UVT operators. The necessary documents and the procedure for the equivalence of studies completed outside Romania are mentioned in Appendix 2 a Regulations of the West University of Timisoara (UVT) regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs at the bachelor's degree level.
(3) Necessary documents for candidates applying for places for Romanian citizens everywhere[1] are mentioned in Appendix 3 a Regulations of the West University of Timisoara (UVT) regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs at the bachelor's degree level.
(4) Candidates eligible to be exempt from the registration fee, according to Article 19 of the faculty-level regulation, will also upload supporting documents for the category they fall into on the admission platform.
(5) Candidates with outstanding results at national or international Olympics and competitions can upload the relevant supporting documents on the admission platform.
(6) For admission to undergraduate university study programs taught in Romanian, candidates who do not hold Romanian citizenship and who do not present Romanian study documents (diplomas and certificates) issued following the graduation of study programs taught in Romanian or study documents/school situations attesting to at least three years of consecutive studies followed in Romanian issued by school units/higher education institutions from the national system in Romania or abroad, are required to present a certificate/attestation of linguistic competence for the Romanian language of minimum level B1, according to The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, issued by the pre-university education units organizing the introductory course in Romanian, by the accredited higher education institutions in Romania organizing Romanian language preparatory program for foreign citizens, regardless of the field studied, by the lecturers of Romanian language, literature, culture and civilization in higher education institutions abroad, by the Institute of the Romanian Language or by the Romanian Cultural Institute.
(7) For students who took the baccalaureate exam in Romania and who followed high school studies in an international language or a language of national minorities, the certification of linguistic skills in oral communication in Romanian is done with the baccalaureate diploma, issued by authorized/accredited educational institutions in Romania.
(8) For study programs taught in an internationally spoken language, candidates may upload supporting documents to attest knowledge of the language of instruction, with only those documents attesting knowledge of the respective language at a minimum level of B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, being relevant. Language proficiency test cannot be equated based on the language proficiency certificate obtained after taking the tests within the baccalaureate exam.

● For citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, as well as for British citizens and their family members, as beneficiaries of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community 2019/C 384 I/01 (British citizens who are in Romania and continue to reside on the territory of Romania after the end of the transition period of the withdrawal process of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union, established in accordance with Article 126 of the Withdrawal Agreement for 31 December 2020, their family members who accompany them or who join them after the end of the transition period if they had the status of family members before its end, as well as children born or adopted after the end of the transition period, provided that proof of registration from the General Inspectorate is presented of Immigration within the Ministry of Internal Affairs), the admission process will take place under the same conditions as for Romanian citizens (provided that the requirements regarding the recognition and equivalence of diplomas are met).
● High school graduates from international systems accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Education and Research have the right to participate in the admission process in Romanian higher education, including from the year of graduation from high school, through a conditional acceptance procedure, the admitted candidate having to bring the equivalent international baccalaureate diploma within a maximum of 6 months from admission.
● For Romanian citizens from all over the world, the admission competition will be held according to the procedure described in Annex 3 of the Regulation of the West University of Timisoara (UVT) regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process for undergraduate university study programs, on places financed from the state budget specifically intended for them, with or without a scholarship, or on places with a fee, respecting the maximum enrollment capacity approved for each university study program.
● Candidates who have obtained distinctions (I, II, III prizes) at international school olympiads recognized by the Ministry of Education and Research and/or I prize at national olympiads, funded by the Ministry of Education and Research, are admitted to places financed from the state budget without taking the admissions competition.
● A bonus of 1 point to the general admission average is granted to all participants in the national phases of the school olympiads with an economic profile, without exceeding the general admission average of 10. At the same time, participants in any section of the national knowledge competition for students "FEAA ECONOMICA RIPENSIS" organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in 2025, who obtained a grade higher than or equal to 7 (seven), are granted a bonus of 10% of the score obtained in the competition, without exceeding the general admission average of 10. The bonus (maximum 1 point) is granted only once, regardless of the number of participations of the candidates in the national phases of the school olympiads with an economic profile and/or in the national knowledge competition for students "FEAA ECONOMICA RIPENSIS" and cannot be combined with other bonuses.
● Candidates who have obtained the status of class leaders within UVT partner high schools or who have obtained an average of 10 in the baccalaureate exam (based on the invitation letter signed by the UVT rector, a letter that must accompany the candidate's file) take the admission tests specific to the undergraduate university study program(s), except in the case where they have obtained distinctions in national or international olympiads during their high school studies and fall under the special conditions relating to the admission process mentioned in article 14 of these regulations.
● For students with disabilities and special educational needs, based on supporting documents, the admission tests can be adapted depending on the type and severity of the disability. These include alternative ways of reading the text (large print, Braille, lector, screen reader), additional time for solving tasks, etc.
● For candidates with specific learning disabilities and sensory disorders, based on the diagnostic certificate issued by the competent bodies, upon request, the adaptation of examination procedures within the admission process is done through:
a) ensuring an additional time compared to the time initially allocated for the elaboration of the work;
b) in the case of candidates with dyslexia, the reading of the subjects is ensured by a member of the admission committee at the faculty level; the subjects are read in turn, in the order in which the work is elaborated;
c) in the case of candidates with dysgraphia, the candidate has the right to an oral evaluation or will dictate the content of the paper to a member of the admission committee at the faculty level;
d) in the case of candidates with dyscalculia, the use of a pocket/desk calculator, Pythagorean board or tables with formulas is ensured.
● The distribution of places specially allocated to candidates of Roma ethnicity, graduates of rural high schools, candidates belonging to national minorities (for study programs that do not exist in state education in the language of the respective minority), candidates from placement centers / the social protection system and candidates with special educational needs or disabilities is done at the UVT level, in accordance with the provisions of Article 11 of the Regulation of the West University of Timișoara (UVT) regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs at the bachelor's degree level, approved by the UVT Senate, and all information about this process is published on the website admitere.uvt.ro, in the sections dedicated to specific categories of candidates.
