Evaluation criterias of the "Professional development project in the master's field".

  1. research methodology in the field of history (norms, academic ethics);
  2. orientation in specialized literature (sources used in research in the field of history, current perspectives);
  3. perspective of career development (the need to study the master's cycle).

Working time/presentation: max. 15 min./candidate

Details regarding the admission steps

    (1) The minimum general average of admission to the master's degree programs organized by UVT may not be less than 6,00 (six).

    (2) The general admission average is calculated to two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula:

    ● 20% of the grade from the oral admission test;
    ● 80% average from the undergraduate exam.

    (3) Ranking is done in descending order of averages obtained at the admission test and within the limits of approved places for each university study program.

    (4) The general average or the general scores obtained by candidates in the admission competition are valid for determining the ranking only within the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, according to this regulation.

    (5) The ranking resulting from the admissions competition will also be used for the distribution of places financed by study grants, which will go to the best ranked eligible candidates for each master's university study program.

    If there are several candidates who have an average equal to that of the candidate ranked last in both budget and fee, the following will be taken into account:
    ● average of the undergraduate exam;
    ● the average number of years of study at the bachelor's degree program followed;
    ● the grade for the evaluation test of fundamental and specialized knowledge from the final exam of the undergraduate university studies.

List of required documents
Candidates will have to present all the documents necessary for the admission process in original or in legalized copies at the points of collection of admission documents in the UVT offices or in the county admission centers organized by UVT, for their scanning and certification according to the original by UVT operators.

July session: 16.07.2024, 16.00

September session: 10.09.2024, 16.00

 

Candidates who do not meet the provisions of this paragraph will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.

After the end of the registration period, the options, their order as well as other information from the file registered on the online admission platform cannot be changed.

 

Regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs in the master's degree cycle

 

  • Article 10. Documents required for registration in the admission process

    (1) The documents required for the enrollment file for the master's degree programs within the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology are the following:

    1. ID card;
    2. Birth certificate – for UVT graduates of undergraduate university studies from the current year, the document is not mandatory, it can be taken from the existing file for the cycle of university undergraduate studies;
    3. Marriage certificate - if appropriate;
    4. Bachelor's degree or diploma equivalent to it, accompanied by the supplement to the diploma, or certificate of completion of undergraduate university studies, accompanied by the transcript, for candidates who graduated from undergraduate university studies in the current year; UVT graduates of undergraduate studies in the current year do not need to upload the certificate of completion of undergraduate studies and the transcript on the admission platform in order to apply for master's studies in the same year, the results of the final examination of undergraduate studies , respectively the average of the years of undergraduate university studies, being taken over in the candidate's file directly by the admission committees of the UVT faculties;
    5. Medical certificate issued by the family doctor, not older than 90 days from the date of its submission to the document collection office, certifying that the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, where appropriate, the chronic conditions of the candidate (neuropsychiatric, psychopathological, pulmonary , dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree, etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a certificate of diagnosis;
    6. Certificate certifying completion of another master's university study program (completed or not at the time of submission of the file), in which the funding regime in which each year of studies was completed (with funding from the state budget/with a fee) , if it is/was carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) and, if applicable, the years and semesters of studies in which the student benefited from the scholarship, respectively its type - if appropriate.

 

(2) Candidates who are Romanian citizens or from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, as well as British citizens and their family members, as beneficiaries of Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community 2019/C 384 I/01, who completed their undergraduate studies outside of Romania, must present, in addition to the above documents, the equivalency/recognition document issued by National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED). In the case of the recognition documents issued online by the specialized departments within the Ministry of Education, they are uploaded in electronic format on the admission platform by the candidate, within the term established for registration by the own regulation regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process at the level of each faculties, and does not require certification according to the original by UVT operators. The necessary documents and the procedure for equating studies conducted outside Romania are mentioned in Annex 1 of this regulation.

(3) In order to be admitted to the master's degree programs with teaching in Romanian, foreign citizens who do not present study certificates issued by educational units / institutions in Romania or abroad, with teaching in Romanian, have the obligation to present a certificate of competence linguistics for the Romanian language issued by institutions authorized by the Ministry of Education.

(4) Necessary documents for candidates applying for places for Romanian citizens everywhere[1] are listed in Annex 2 to this Regulation.

(5) Applicants eligible for exemption from the registration fee, in accordance with Article 20 of this Regulation, will upload on the admission platform also the supporting documents for the category in which they fall.

[1] Romanians everywhere = persons who freely assume the Romanian cultural identity, persons of Romanian origin and those belonging to the Romanian linguistic and cultural vein who live outside the borders of Romania, regardless of the ethnonym used, as well as Romanian emigrants, whether they have kept or not Romanian citizenship, their descendants and Romanian citizens with permanent residence or residence abroad (who do not hold a Romanian identity card).

 

Article 11.

(1) Candidates who passed the final exam for undergraduate studies in the sessions corresponding to the academic year 2023-2024 at a higher education institution than UVT they can upload to the admission platform and present at the collection points the documents necessary for the admission process from the UVT offices and from the county admission centers organized by the UVT, for the admission session immediately following the session in which they passed the license exam, instead of the diploma license, the certificate issued by the educational institution, in the original, which mentions the general average from the license exam, the grades obtained in the tests taken at the license exam, the validity period and the fact that the diploma has not been issued.

(2) Candidates who passed the final exam for undergraduate studies in the sessions corresponding to the academic year 2023-2024 the UVT they do not have to upload to the admission platform or present at the collection points the documents necessary for the admission process from the UVT offices and from the county admission centers organized by the UVT the certificate of completion of university undergraduate studies. The results of the UVT graduates in the exam for the completion of university undergraduate studies for the current year will be made available to the admission committees of the UVT faculties by the UVT General Secretariat.

(3) In order to enroll in master's university studies, candidates admitted to the places financed from the state budget are required to submit at the collection points the documents necessary for the admission process in the UVT offices and in the county admission centers organized by the UVT, the bachelor's degree ( or the certificate, for candidates who have passed the exam to complete their undergraduate university studies in the 2023-2024 session) in original, respectively the original degree recognition document, if applicable. For graduates of the current year's bachelor's degree studies at UVT admitted to a master's degree program organized by UVT on a place financed from the state budget, the certificate of graduation of the bachelor's degree studies will be submitted in the original to the student file by UVT representatives.

(4) In the case of the recognition documents issued online by the specialized departments within the Ministry of Education, they are uploaded in electronic format on the admission platform by the candidate, within the deadline set for registration by the own regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the level of each faculties, and does not require submission or certification according to the original by UVT operators. For enrollment, candidates who submit the recognition document electronically are required to submit a declaration on their own responsibility to confirm the place financed from the state budget.

The results of the admission process
