Master's degree in Geography UVT admission
Description of the exam test (s)

Admission to a master's degree program in teaching is based on an argumentative essay on the role of the teacher in the contemporary school (2000-2500 words). The admission process will be finalized by granting the grade ADMITTED/REJECTED by the admission committee, following the analysis of the argumentative essay submitted by the candidate in the application file. The argumentative essay must also be uploaded by Romanian candidates from all over the world. The ranking of candidates will be based on the average of the graduation of undergraduate studies. In order to complete the argumentative essay, the following list of minimal bibliographical references will be taken into account:

  • Hattie, J. (2014). Visible learning. Guide for teachers. Bucharest: Trei Publishing House, ISBN: 978-606-719-058-8.

For all specializations for which the West University of Timișoara organizes a teaching master's degree, the ranking of candidates who have an average equal to that of the last place allocated for both places financed from the state budget and for places with a fee will be carried out in order, depending on: (1) the average of the years of undergraduate studies and (2) the arithmetic average of the undergraduate exam scores.
