Accommodation policy
First year students are accommodated in descending order of admission average. Students with disabilities, disadvantaged and those from placement benefit from accommodation in the university dormitories.
For the master's degree programs organized within the Department of Geography, the admission test consists of an oral test to assess specialized knowledge. The test is evaluated by the grade Admitted/Rejected and is based on the topics and bibliography presented in Annex 4 of the CBG Admission Regulations.
Admission average = arithmetic average of the bachelor's exam x 50% + weighted average of the years of study in the bachelor's cycle x 50% + bonuses (for the situations provided for in art. 14, paragraph (3) of the Admission Regulation). The ranking of candidates is done in descending order of the averages obtained in the admission competition and within the limit of the places approved for each university study program.
For candidates who demonstrate outstanding scientific achievements, the general admission average will also include bonuses, as follows: • the candidate is the author/co-author of a paper published in ISI journals – 1 p/paper; • the candidate is the author/co-author of a paper published in BDI journals – 0,7 p/paper; • the candidate is the author/co-author of a scientific book/textbook –0,005 p/page assigned to him/her; • the candidate is the author/co-author of a paper presented at an international conference - 0,5 p/paper; • the candidate is the author/co-author of a paper presented at a national conference - 0,2 p/paper; • the candidate is a member of a research contract team - 0,5 p/contract; • the candidate participated in student communication sessions - 0,1 p/paper, respectively 0,2 p/awarded paper.
