Postgraduate study programs

Postgraduate studies aim to:

Adult continuing education and training, which is subsequent to initial training and provides adults with either the development of already acquired professional / specific / transversal / key competencies, or the acquisition of new competencies, through learning outcomes.

Continuing higher education, which focuses on the formation and development of transversal / key competencies and competencies specific to a field of activity in CANE or a qualification registered in the National Register of Qualifications in Higher Education, hereinafter referred to as RNCIS.

Postgraduate programs can be:

Continuing education programs:

Postgraduate training and continuing professional development programs - represents the educational offer for updating/developing new occupational/professional skills;
Postgraduate study programs - represents the educational offer for professional training that leads to the development/completion/acquisition of knowledge, attitudes, skills, abilities or professional competences of a person who already holds a university qualification, through new learning outcomes.

Continuing education postgraduate study programs:

initiation - they are short programs and represent the educational offer for the acquisition of knowledge, skills, skills according to the needs of the activities in CAEN, new occupations in COR, for the acquisition of new technologies, information on changes in the labor market, in general for novelties determined by scientific and technological evolution of the field, which will later generate improvement/specialization programs;
training - represents the educational offer for professional training that leads to the development/completion/acquisition of knowledge, skills, skills or professional/transversal/key competences of a person who already holds a university qualification through new learning outcomes;
specialization - represents the educational offer for the acquisition of learning outcomes in the same occupational area/core group in the COR and the development of skills within the same qualification;
qualification and requalification - represents the educational offer for professional training that leads to the acquisition of all learning outcomes that allow a person to carry out activities specific to one or more occupations in COR / ISCO-08.

Admission conditions

La postgraduate programs of training and continuous professional development graduates who have completed at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent university studies with a diploma can participate;

La postgraduate curricula for in-service training graduates with a short-term higher education graduation diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent can participate;

La programs of postgraduate studies of permanent education graduates of short-term higher education with a bachelor's degree may participate, as well as graduates of higher education with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Admission file

Admission to postgraduate programs is based on the candidate's enrollment file, which will contain simple copies of the following documents:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent / diploma of short-term higher education;

· Registration sheet / supplement to the bachelor's degree;

· Birth certificate;

· Marriage certificate (if applicable);

· ID card.

The admission process to the postgraduate study programs

Short guide on the online registration process for the admission process of postgraduate study programs at the West University of Timișoara (UVT)

The process of enrollment in the admission process of postgraduate study programs at the West University of Timișoara (UVT) takes place exclusively online, on the platform https://admitereonline.uvt.ro, by creating an account on the UVT online admission platform using an email address and setting a personal password.

After validating the account created by the message received by e-mail, you can log on to the online admission platform of UVT with the e-mail address used and the password set, by selecting the button Log in.

By accessing the button Add file you can choose the postgraduate study program for which you want to apply, during the period when registrations are open for it according to the calendar displayed on the website https://admitere.uvt.ro/ on the page of that program, first selecting the organizing faculty then the Postgraduate Studies section, then the admission session of the desired postgraduate study program: Faculty of ...... / Postgraduate Studies / PU Admission -................. ...... Then select the button Create file.

To register the file, proceed as follows:
1. Fill in the information in the online registration form, sections: Personal data, Bachelor's degree.
2. In the section Required documents upload the required documents for the registration process (mandatory ones are marked with “!”)
3. Make the payment registration fee (worth 200 lei) by online payment, with the card, also on the admission platform, accessing the Pay button at the bottom of the registration form (under Required documents).
4. Select the button Complete and submit the file from the bottom of the registration form.

Until the submission of the admission file is completed, by selecting the button Complete and submit file, the status of the file will be unregistered, during which time it can be edited / modified / completed. If you want to drop the file before completing it, you can opt for the button Withdrawal of file, and then the status of the file will be Withdrawn. After selecting the button Complete and submit file, the status of the file will be Registered, and it can no longer be modified or withdrawn.
