(1) For the academic year 2025 – 2026, admission to master's degree studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is carried out by fields and study programs. For all fields and study programs, the competition tests include:
(2) The mandatory admission test for the master's degree studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration consists of an online form-type admission test and targets the general knowledge of the candidates. This test is evaluated with the grade ADMITTED/REJECTED, which will be taken into each candidate's file.
(3) The admission test is mandatory for all candidates, including Romanian candidates from all over the world, candidates from third countries EU, EEA, Swiss Confederation.
(4) For university master's study programs organized in a foreign language, respectively Master in Sustainable Finance, Management of business organizations, Business management in a European context/Le management des affaires en contexte européen, Global Entrepreneurship, Economics and Management, the admission process also contains a language proficiency test that will aim to verify general communication knowledge in the respective language, eliminatory, conducted online, using electronic means that ensure direct audio and video communication with the candidate in the admission process, evaluated with the grade ADMITTED/REJECTED, which will be taken over in each candidate's file.
(5) Possession of internationally recognized diplomas/certificates, such as:
is equivalent to taking and passing the language proficiency test for candidates enrolled in university master's degree programs in foreign languages.
(6) Candidates from countries where the official language is English or French or those who have followed a bachelor's degree program in English or French are considered admitted to the language proficiency test upon admission to the master's degree program in that language.
(7) Candidates declared rejected in the language proficiency test remain registered for the admission competition to master's degree programs in Romanian, according to the options selected upon registration.
(1) The minimum general average for admission to the master's degree university study programs organized by UVT cannot be lower than 6,00 (six). (2) The general admission average for candidates declared ADMITTED following the admission test conducted online is calculated with two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula: MA = 0,65 x ML + 0,35 x PS + 0,20 (excellence incentive) where: MA = general admission average; ML = average from the bachelor's degree exam; PS = score of the completed bachelor's degree university study program, according to the options of the program coordinators (Annex 1); The excellence incentive is granted (without the MA exceeding 10) for prizes obtained at national AFER Olympiads or at national and international student competitions/contests (including the FEAA student scientific communication competition), but also for articles published in journals indexed in international databases or in the volumes of international conferences. (3) The ranking of candidates is done in descending order of the averages obtained at the admission competition and within the limit of the places approved for each university study program. (4) The general average or the general scores obtained by candidates at the admission competition are valid for establishing the ranking only within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, according to the regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process. (5) The ranking resulting from the admission competition will also be used for the distribution of places financed through study grants, which will be awarded to the best-ranked eligible candidates for each master's degree university study program. (6) In the event of equal averages, the tie-breaking will be made according to the following criteria, in order: 1 – general average of the years of undergraduate studies; 2 – average from Test 1 for the evaluation of fundamental and specialized knowledge within the bachelor's degree exam.
The incentive of excellence is awarded (without the MA being able to exceed 10) for prizes obtained at national AFER Olympics or at national and international student competitions / competitions (including the FEAA student scientific communication contest), but also for articles published in indexed journals. international data or in the volumes of international conferences.
