Details regarding the admission steps

    (1) The minimum overall grade point average for admission to undergraduate university study programs organized by UVT cannot be lower than 6,00 (six), provided that none of the grades obtained in the competition tests is lower than 5,00, XNUMX (five).
    (2) The general admission average is calculated to two decimal places, without rounding, according to the following formula:
    • The admission average for the Physical and Sports Education, Physical and Sports Education (part-time education) and Physiotherapy and special mobility programs are calculated as follows:
    • Average at the baccalaureate exam - ½ weight;
    • Test of sports skills - ½ weight
    • The admission average for the Sport and motor performance undergraduate study program is calculated as follows:
    • Average at the baccalaureate exam - weight 1/3;
    • Sports skills test - weight 1/3;
    • Sportsmanship test - weight 1/3.
    (3) The competition tests in which the candidate was absent are marked with 0 (zero) and are included in the calculation of the admission average.
    (4) Candidates who withdraw their file before the competition results are displayed are eliminated from the competition.
    (5) Candidates are ranked in descending order of averages obtained at the admission test and within the limits of approved places for each university study program.
    (6) The general average or the general scores obtained by the candidates in the admission competition are valid for establishing the ranking only within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, according to this regulation.
    (7) The ranking resulting from the admissions competition will also be used for the allocation of places financed from the state budget, these going to the best-ranked eligible candidates, for each bachelor's degree program.
    (8) In the event of equal averages on the last place in the Bachelor's degree programs Physical Education and Sports, Physical Education and Sports (part-time form of education) and Physiotherapy and special mobility, candidates are declared admitted following a tie based on the following criteria, in order of application:
    ● the average of the motor assessment test;
    ● the average of the baccalaureate exam.
    (9) In the event of equal averages on the last place in the Sport and motor performance undergraduate study program, candidates are declared admitted following a tie based on the following criteria, in the order of application:
    ● the average for the sports mastery test;
    ● the average of the motor assessment test;
    ● the average of the baccalaureate exam.
    (10) The provisions of this article also apply to Romanian candidates everywhere.

    (1) Candidates for undergraduate university studies who obtained, during their high school studies:
    • 1st prize at the National Olympiad in the discipline of Theoretical Sports Training, National School Sports Olympiad or High School Military Sports Olympiad;
    • Medalists at the Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships (seniors, youth, juniors);
    • IV, V, VI, VII, VIII places at the Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games;
    • IV, V, VI places at the World Championships (seniors, youth, juniors);
    • Qualified athletes with the sports game team (seniors, youth and juniors) at the final tournaments of the Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships;
    benefit from the right to register, without supporting the admissions competition, for places financed from the state budget.
    (2) Candidates for university undergraduate studies who obtained, during their high school studies, the following sports performances, will benefit from equating the admission average for university undergraduate studies within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport to 10:
    • II-III places at the National Olympiad in the theoretical sports training discipline, the national school sports Olympiad or the high school military sports Olympiad;
    • 1st-3rd places at the National School Championships financed by the Ministry of Education;
    • 1st-3rd places at the School and University Sports Federation Cup.
    (3) The facilities provided for in paragraphs (1) and (2) are granted to candidates who obtained the respective performances during their high school studies. The supporting documents for granting the facilities mentioned in paragraphs (1) and (2) are uploaded on the UVT admission platform, during the registration period for the admission competition.

List of required documents

The necessary documents for the application file for undergraduate university study programs within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport are the following:

  1. ID card;
  2. Birth certificate;
  3. Marriage certificate - if appropriate;
  4. Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent;
    1. Candidates who passed the baccalaureate exam in the sessions corresponding to the 2023-2024 school year can upload to the admission platform and present at the collection points the documents necessary for the admission process from the UVT offices and from the county admission centers organized by the UVT, for the admission session immediately following the session in which they passed the baccalaureate exam, instead of the baccalaureate diploma, the certificate issued by the pre-university education unit in the original or a legalized copy, which mentions the general average from the baccalaureate exam, the grades obtained in the tests taken at this exam, the validity period and the fact that the diploma has not been issued.
  1. Medical certificate that must contain, in addition general clinical examination (certified by the family doctor) and exams Ophthalmology and psychiatric (Annex no. 4 – medical record, completed according to the specified requirements) no older than 30 days from the date of its presentation at the document collection office, certifying whether the respective candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, if applicable, the chronic conditions from which the candidate suffers (neuropsychiatric, psycho-pathological, pulmonary, venereal dermatological, handicap (type, degree) etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or possible special educational requirements will be attested by a diagnostic certificate;
  2. Certificate certifying completion of another undergraduate university study program (completed or not at the time of submitting the file), in which the funding regime in which each year of study was completed (with funding from the state budget/with a fee) , if it is/was carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) and, if applicable, the years and semesters of studies in which the student benefited from the scholarship, respectively its type - if appropriate.

For any other details, consult Article 10 from Regulation on the organization and conduct of the admission process for university study programs from the undergraduate cycle of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, academic year 2024-2025.

Candidates will be required to submit all documents required for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on the organization and conduct of the admission process at the faculty level, in original or certified copy, until at least one day before the date of publication of the lists of admitted candidates, according to the calendar established by the faculty regulations regarding the organization and development of the admission process, at the points of taking over the admission documents from the UVT headquarters or from the county admission centers organized by UVT, for scanning and certifying them according to the original by UVT operators. Candidates who do not comply with this provision will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
