Enrollment in the competition for admission to university master's studies in a specific field can be done regardless of the field in which the bachelor's degree was acquired, provided that a minimum of 240 ECTS credits have been obtained in that field.
Admission to master's degree studies at the Faculty of Law is by competition, regardless of the form of education in which they are organized, based on the tests established by this regulation, in order to test knowledge and cognitive abilities. The knowledge specific to the field of study is verified by written and / or oral tests based on a bibliography containing specialized works.
(1) The admission competition for master's degree studies consists of drawing up a competition file, consisting of the documents mentioned in art. 9, paragraph (1) and i) Curriculum Vitae and ii) an essay based on the bibliography specified for each study program (in this written component, the candidate will write an essay, depending on the specificity of the master's degree program to which he/she is applying, in the format specified in Annex 1), having as bibliography:
For the master's degree program Administrative and fiscal litigation: A. Trăilescu, Administrative Law. Special Part, 3rd Edition, CH Beck, Bucharest, 2023; A. Trăilescu, A. Trăilescu, Administrative Litigation Law. Comments and Explanations, 5th Edition, CH Beck, Bucharest, 2020.
(2) The admission committee analyzes the files of the candidates registered for the competition and ranks the candidates through an admission average, calculated based on: 1) the average of the final exam of the bachelor's degree and 2) the score awarded on the competition file (evaluation of CV, essay, language skills (if applicable), awards and distinctions obtained in national or international competitions (if applicable), elements of compatibility of the completed bachelor's degree program with the chosen master's degree program).
(3) The ranking and division of candidates for places financed from the state budget is done according to the admission average. Candidates who opt for places financed from the state budget or with a fee related to several master's degree programs organized at the Faculty of Law will submit the application file for each of the master's degree programs they have opted for.
(4) In cases where two or more candidates have obtained an equal score, their tie-breaking will be based on the general average of years of study.
